“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t… you’re right.”
I lead the operations team at Confluence. My primary objective is to provide effective and efficient systems and support to our advisors and, most importantly, our clients. But, this goes beyond just keeping things running smoothly. I work with the other leaders at Confluence, and the operations team, to improve what we do every day.
Armed with an Economics degree, I began my career in brokerage operations at a regional self-clearing firm. These formative years afforded me the opportunity to master every aspect of the brokerage back office. I then transitioned to a securities litigation consulting firm where I consulted with major brokerage firms and their legal counsel, providing analysis of investment activity and investor claims for purposes of damage calculations. Most recently I served as a director at a $30B ultra-high-net-worth investment advisory. In this role I managed all staff and activity related to investment reporting
I love being part of a management team that is focused on making our firm better – systems, processes, culture, resulting in a great client experience. I truly enjoy working with numbers, and love that I get the opportunity to work with our client’s data every day. I also appreciate that Confluence, as an employee owned firm, offers truly independent advice to their clients. What I enjoy most are the employees and team members I work with every day. The team here is collaborative and focused, and together they offer breadth and depth not typically found in a firm our size.
