“What we do in life echoes in eternity” – Maximus Decimus Aurelius

As a wealth advisor, I help navigate people through the intimate details of their financial life, and provide unbiased and objective advice on allocation of resources in a manner that is meaningful to them. Through a collaborative and educational financial planning experience, I explain where they are today and coordinate strategies with teams of experts to propel them forward in realizing their life and financial goals. Using a very hands-on approach, I gain a deeper understanding of what philosophies and values are most important in each individual’s life, and help guide them toward their own impression of financial independence. Integrity, trust, creativity, and discipline form a solid core of my business values.

I have gravitated toward financial literacy my entire life and immersed myself in financial planning by studying Finance, Healthcare Policy, and International Business at Oregon State. My career was launched by building a solid foundation in both portfolio construction and a thorough understanding of wealth management issues for high-net worth individuals and small businesses, which led me to serve as the Director of Financial Planning at a planning centric firm in Portland. For several years I built relationships while leveraging technology and creative thinking to empower people in making educated financial decisions through all walks of life. At Confluence, I am honored to serve as the architect of our client’s financial lives and break down complex wealth strategies to help people focus on what is most important in their life.

Transforming lives and taking care of people as a financial coach is why I love being a trusted advisor. I am motivated every day knowing that I am directly influencing our client’s financial independence and moving them closer to their goals. I absolutely love educating people and seeing the positive impact that smart financial plans can make over a person’s lifetime.

Little known fact:

I am an Eagle Scout.

Most likely to say?

Alright, let’s do this!

Outside of work I…

I am a family man first and foremost, devoting quality time with my wife and wrangling 2 boys at home. I am just as happy going on a hike in solitude as I am at a social neighborhood BBQ, and enjoy creating deep and meaningful relationships with the people around me. I’m a big soccer fan, and enjoy spending time in the great outdoors of the Pacific NW.

Giving back is important to me and I’m actively involved in organizations like the Rotary Club of Sherwood and youth ministries in our local church congregation, Colossae of Sherwood.

Perfect day:

After fresh coffee, I take my family on a morning hike in the woods, head to a Portland brewery for lunch, cruise downtown for a Timbers game, where afterwards we go night skiing on Mt. Hood, then end the night playing board games with some friends and a piece of dark chocolate.

What makes me get out of bed in the morning?

The excitement of learning something new and creating a positive influence in the lives of others.
